Brynlee's Blessing Day

Yesterday was a big day! Jason blessed Brynlee at church (and did a beautiful job by the way), Jordan gave his homcoming talk and Lincoln turned 16 and was ordained a priest. Brynlee did so good during the blessing. She didn't make a peep. We love you Brynlee!

Traditions

Last year Haley didn't dare sit on Santa's lap with out him taking his gloves off. As you can see Haley was very brave this year and sat on his lap with his gloves on. This is Brynlees first time on Santa's lap and she didn't even cry. :)
Last weekend we made gingerbread houses at Jason's parents house. For some reason Jason doesn't really dig doing gingerbread houses. So Haley and I did one together while Jason took care of Brynlee.

As you can see this was an all girl activity. Stephanie kicked Brandon out of our party because he kept eating all the candy.

Haley can't get enough of her little sister. She kisses her all the time!

Here are the end products. Haley's and mine on the far left. Stephanie's in the middle and Karen and Chandra's on the right. Until next year....

More Christmas Traditions

Last night we went with some of Jason's family to the live nativity and to see the candy window on Center Street in Provo.

After we went to Jason's parents house for hot chocolate and sweet rolls and a few games of Nerts. I love this time of year!!

Canadian Thanksgiving

Since my in-laws are from Canada we get at least two Thanksgivings every year. These are pictures of Canadian Thanksgiving that I didn't post last month because I had Brynlee shortly there after. Jason really wanted to deep fry a turkey. This was our first time trying this and I have to say Jason did a fine job. It is great to know he knows how to do this because now I don't have to cook a turkey he gets to do that part! We were even lucky enough to have Ryan and Jess in town for Thanksgiving and for when Brynlee was born.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

What Haley does while mom is asleep...

So the other day I walked in the family room and this is what I saw....:)

My mom has been so nice to come over and entertain Haley and take care of Brynlee while I catch up on my sleep. THANKS A TON MOM!!!

These next 3 pictures are ones Haley took randomly with my camera. I have to admit, she isn't too bad of a photographer at four!!

This is probably the view Brynlee gets a lot. Her big sister giving her KISSES all the time!!

Halloween night

So as you can tell I am behind on my blog. Truth is if I have a free min. I am sleeping!! I will post more about how things are going with having Brynlee in our family when I have caught up on my sleep. She is a great baby...just has her days and nights mixed up. (for a couple more pic. of Halloween night check out my friend Erins blog. Haley ended up trick-or-treating with her friend Kaleb)
Haley loves loves loves to hug and KISS her little sister!!
We love having Brynlee in our family!!

Happy Halloween!!!

This years Cloward Halloween Party was fun, but different. Since Brynlee was only a week old Jason stayed home with the her while Haley and I went to the party. Haleys favorite part was playing musical chairs. She came in 3rd place. She was really proud of herself. Not everyone dresses up this year. It is weird to see the older nieces and nephews getting in there "teens" and are "too cool" to dress up. My favorite costumes were Kevin and Kristi. They came dressed up as gold medalist, Michale Phelps and Natia (however you spell her name). Haley and I left early because I had to get home to feed Brynlee. Haley wouldn't stay. She goes everywhere I go and the baby goes. We had a good time. Thanks Mom and Dad for the party!!

8 months pregnant...

So a lot of people have been asking me why I haven't been in many pictures on my blog. Truth is I don't like pregnant pictures of me, but I know it is history so here you go. Haley took this picture of me the other day....

Haley and I making crazy faces on the front porch. I love this Fall weather!
Last weekend we stayed up in Park City with some of Jason's family. I told Haley we were going to go shopping, which she loves. She kept saying before we went, "We are going to Shop 'til we drop!" When we got to the outlets we saw this sign, so I had to get a picture of Haley and Grandpa by it. This was the only pic. I took in Park City, I just wasn't up to taking pictures. If you want to see more go to Brandon and Steph's link.

Change at our house is coming soon...

So, I am just about 4 weeks away from having our baby. It's to that point where I have a lot of thoughts and emotions going through my mind. It is weird because it has been just the three of us for 4 years now. We have waiting so long for this baby #2 to come into our family and it is about here! Haley is such a sweetie and it is weird to wonder what this next one will be like. My sisters say I don't know what it is like to be a mom yet because Haley has been so easy and I would have to agree. I keep wondering how can I love this baby #2 as much as I love Haley? Everyone tells me that you just do. Is this possible...cause I love Haley a whole lot! I guess I will discover this soon and I can't wait. Haley is going to be the best big sister and a great helper. Thanks Haley for being such the sweet girl that you are! Dad and I love you!!!!

Fun Weekend....

This weekend we went up to Lagoon. Ross had some extra Nu Skin tickets so we were able to again this year. Haley is the perfect age for Lagoon. She loved it. I of course did a whole lot of watching and not any rides seeing as how I am 8 months prego...but thats o.k. It's just as fun watching Haley get so excited over things. The next day we went to the BYU vs. Wyoming game with Brandon and Stephanie. We got to sick up in the loge, thanks to Ross again. Haley got to stay home with Jasons mom and was lucky enough to paint Karens nails. :)

Haley's first day of Preschool!!

Today was Haley's first day of Preschool. She was so excited she could hardly stand it. She even had a hard time falling asleep last night. I am at home all alone right now and don't quite know what to do with myself! I MISS HER already!! It is hard to believe Haley is getting so big and more independent each day. I guess that is why you have more kids. We are excited for our little one to come in October!!
This is Haley's friend Hannah.
Hanging up their backpacks...
We love you Haley!!!!
