She got mail!

So on our way to Toco Bell the other night, we grabed the mail on the way there. Haley got a letter from Santa!! She was so excited! We read it to her in the car. I kept looking back at her and she didn't stop smiling the whole time we were in the car. We even had to keep the back light on in the car so she could stare at her letter. The only problem is her list keeps changing or should I say getting longer....I guess we will see what the big man up North brings next week. Merry Christmas!!

Gingerbread house

So, I am a little behind on my blog. Last weekend we stayed home becuase the weather was so bad. We decided to pull out our gingerbread house kit that we have had for 2 years and put it to use. Haley loved it. I found myself making alone, while Haley was busy eating all the candy and Jason watching something on ESPN.
Brandon and Stephanie were suppose to go to a party that night but it got canceled due to bad weather...so they joined us.
We were in the mood for a good drink so we thought we could make "Sonic" type drinks. They were okay but next time I think I will drive down to Sonic.

LET IT SNOW!!

Here is Haley and her cousin Lexee. A week ago was the first big snow storm of the year, so we took Haley sleding at Rock Canyon Park with my brother Scott and his family. Karen and Ross decided to come too with Chandra, Lincoln and Dallin. We had a great time. Haley loved it!
You get quite the work out walking up that big hill. Haley would make it about half way and get tired, so Jason would carry her the rest of the way.
Chandra, Dallin and Lincoln helped make a snowman with Haley. They just happend to come along some rabbit poop which made a great face for the snowman. Jason told Haley they were "Milk Duds."
What a fun Dad Jason is!!

She did it!!!

So a week ago we went to the mall to see santa and Haley flipped out. She wouldn't sit on Santa's lap. She cried and cried. The next day Haley said she didn't sit on Santa's lap because he had gloves on. So tonight we went to eat at Red Robin and asked her if she wanted to go up stairs and sit on Santa's lap. Jason told her she could just stand by Santa and we would tell him to take his gloves off. She seemed up for it. So here is a picture of us waiting line a short line to see Santa.
Notice Santa took off his gloves. Haley got up to him and quickly said, "I want a cash register and a kitchen." I could tell her heart was pounding. She was trying to be sooo brave. I can't believe she did it!
Later that night Haley said, "Mom, I'm such a big girl since I sat on santa's lap. I am so proud of my life!" You've gotta love Christmas time with little kids!
